ECCO X Pensole Master Class
This project was a 5-week class working as a team with 2 Footwear designers and a Color & Material designer to create a collection for the Outdoor Category. We were connected to the same consumer: an active women with special needs and a unique story.
As a Footwear designer my role in this project was to design a yoga shoe for Ecco's Design Lab.

Astrid is a young women in the age of 28. She is adventurous and loves the nature. She likes to try new things outdoor and spend her leisure time in the forest. She describes herself as a powerful women always looking for different challenges.
I used insect wings as inspiration and the property of being hydrophobic surfaces, meaning they are waterproof and self-cleaning.
Outdoor yoga in grass.
Final design is all about freshness and breathability, a fingerless sock silhouette with an opened lateral area and a delicate slingback that works perfectly with the sensation of feeling free on the grass.
For the outsole I used a special pattern inspired by the insect wings made in a special rubber with enough traction so that in contact with the mat will avoid slippery.
And for materials we decided to use ariaprene, that have the quality to be tight when it needed and at the same time have the feeling of a second skin, which allows to have the best motion.

The job was to design a handbag from the conceptual idea looking for a simple and elegant style. After that, I prepared all the patterns, cut the leather and use an industrial straight machine to manufacture it.
Made all in leather, Stingray is a handbag with a rigid rectangular structure. Its cover is soft and the top piece has a stingray texture with a simple centerpiece to close it. The interior is lined in gray suede and has a small additional pocket.

"La grande Belleza. - Da Venere a Marilyn Monroe"
My submission was inspired by Venus the goddess, who was attributed to love, beauty and fertility. The legend says she was born extremely beautiful so the main responsible to dressed her were the four seasons of the year.
I designed a unique shoe for each season (Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall) that the goddess would have used. In every concept I took elements from different moodboards where I include textures, colors and feelings.
Enjoy!

Color and material design applied to a small collection of Nike Apparel for the SS18 season.
Main inspiration was the new origins that evokes the emergence of new textures and translucent finishes as well as fast drying. Like when something emerges it is soft, young looking but with enough resistance and fluid movement, capable to face any circumstance.

Inspired by the strong and independent women who are aware of danger and constantly looking for protection and preparing for the coming changes.

I started sketching thinking of what type of shoe do a woman need for an unknown surface.
Black, white and iridiscent finishes were suggested by judges for use in your color palette.
The central concept was chosen by judges to go further with it and be developed in to a final sample. The design consists in a high platform with ankle straps that follows the line of your leg.

Submission for Footlocker & Under Armour Class x Pensole
Soft and delicate are the main words that describes best this Color & Material board. It has rough textures balanced with warm colors and a touch of lightness.
For materializing it, I designed the interior of a coffee shop & bakery where I explore how the customers can feel attracted to the place through a comfortable environment and make them come back.
